OLD LADY LISA

 OLD LADY LISA

Old lady Lisa walks every day. She has short grey hair, and she loves to wear hats but there's a special hat she always wears when she goes on walks. The hat feels hard, let's just say it feels indestructible.

Old lady Lisa loves to walk. Her favourite thing to do in her spare time is to walk, but she never walks without her special hat, the reason why she loved that hat so much is because that was the last thing she ever got from her mum.

Old lady Lisa was walking down the street as always when she saw a dog laying on the road she found it misterios when she took a closer look and a car zoomed down the road BANG! Old lady Lisa was on the road unconscious.poor Lisa fighted for her life But sadly Lisa died. but her special hat saved the little dog's life.

Maths

Have fun solving these awesome problems. Enjoy!

  1. One third of the animals in the barn are chickens. The rest are pigs.

There are 20 legs in all.

How many pigs are there? 20

  1. I have three dogs of different ages.

If I add their ages together I get 15.

If I multiply their ages together I get 45.

How old are my dogs? Your dogs are 5 years

3. I think that you’ll find a pattern in the numbers below.

8 x 8 + 13 = 77

88 x 8 + 13 = 717

888 x 8 + 13 =7117

8888 x 8 + 13 =71117

88888 x 8 + 13 =711117

Does the pattern extend indefinitely?

Peel the treaty of waitangi

P - point

E - evidence

E - example/explain

L - link to the next paragraph

The treaty of Waitangi was signed on 6 Feb 1840. The treaty of waitangi was signed by the British and Maori, it was signed so it could stop the war between the British and Maori people and many more reasons. but it turned out it made it an even bigger war between British and Maori.

the reason why the Treaty of Waitangi made a big war between British and Maori. Because the Maori people trusted the British to make laws that would be good for both countries but the British couldn’t care less the law were often good for them. When the British took the Maori peoples land, the Maori people were furious but British replied acting like it was part of the treaty. So my question is, was the treaty a Good thing for the Maori people?

Was the Treaty of Waitangi a good thing for Maori people? Well no as I said in my Previous paragraph Maori people trusted British to make laws that were good for both cultures and the settlers well sadly it only helped the settlers and government.

Was the Treaty of Waitangi a good thing for the British? Well yes British got what the Wanted so you could say British treated Maori unfairly.
