  Rainbows end

When I got inside the gate at Rainbows End, I  could already see the cool
and amazing rides.  I liked the look of the Power Surge and I knew I was
going to have a lot of fun on it. The look of the Stratosfear sent shivers up
my spine and I knew I was  never going to go on it. I loved the thrilling Roller
Coaster and I couldn't wait to go on it. 

 While we waited at the back of the line, my mum gave us a small lolly each
to eat.  Finally it was my turn. I got in but my sister was under the height limit,
so I went on alone and I still had fun. When I got off the ride I felt very dizzy. 
It was like I was about to explode like a balloon. 

Then I sat down for a while to get my brain ready for the next ride. Once I was
feeling better,  I got up and my sister asked if we could go to Kids Kingdom
but I wanted to go on the Fear Fall.   My mum decided to go with to take my
sister and my brother to the Kids Kingdom while I went on the Fear Fall. I was a bit scared so my dad  went with me on the scary fear fall. I felt scared and
I almost vomited while on the fear fall.

When I got off the Fear Fall, I  wanted to go home because I was feeling very
sick.  My dad called my mum and sister and they decided to take us back
home because I was feeling sick.  Although I had a lot of fun at Rainbows
End, I felt bad because my sister had to go back home with us. 

 I hope to go  back to Rainbows End again so that my sister can  have more
fun with me on the amazing rides.  

Tornado

Around about 300 million dollars paid to fix the damage that the
tornadoes have done to planet earth.This is not healthy to planet
earth trees broken if all the trees were snapped we will get to breath
again.

Book week in Schools.

This week was Book week .There was a play performed

In our school.hall on Tuesday.

The play was about the treasure Hunt that has been written
by Craig Christie.

There were two tribes living on the same island.These
two tribes blamed each other for stealing each song.

The Tree land tribes was led by George and the sea view
Tribe was led by Jessica. These two characters teamed up
to solve the problem about the lost treasure that was their song.

The problem was solved when they were able to put
the torn map together and work out how to get to the treasure.
They had to read different books to solve the

The problem.

I really enjoyed this play because both of the characters
were very smart and talented. They sang very well and
were also very hilarious.

Thank you Sam Lydia for coming to our school . I hope to see
you again next year.

                                    

financial literacy

We learnt about how to have a budget and save money.
the other topics we learnt about were insurance, borrowing
and lending, identity theft mortgage,trust and saving money .

Our tutors were Ema,Jane and Matt from price Water house
and cooper Accounting firm.I enjoyed all the sessions
because the activities were very exciting and practical.

People in your neighborhood

• There‘s different types of abuse. Physical abuse and cyber abuse. Get to know your neighborhood.

• Do not open the door for any strangers.

• If a police officer came.  Ask them to show their badge.

• If someone gives you a parcel ask them to leave at the door

• Call 111 if a stranger comes and knock on your door and refuses to leave.

Kiwi sports

Today the senior school had its first kiwi sports session for this term.

Ben, from Auckland badminton taught us some badminton skills.we used a badminton racket
and a shuttle.

We learnt how to hit the shuttle using a forearm hit and backhand hit. Ben also taught us how to hold the
racket using different grips.

I felt like i am a professional from Ben teaching us i thank him it not much but thank you.
